Overview
nCTG is seeking to fill a Flowable Process Automation Specialist opening for our client in San Antonio, TX.
nnLocation: San Antonio, TX
Duration: 6 months
Duties:

Design, develop, and deploy automated business processes using Flowable (open-source or enterprise editions)
n n - n
Model business processes using BPMN, CMMN, and DMN in Flowable
n n - n
Collaborate with business and technical teams to analyze requirements and convert them into scalable, reusable, and high-performing automated workflows
n n - n
Integrate Flowable with external systems and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful services
n n - n
Orchestrate services and build robust connectors to enable seamless process automation
n n - n
Implement process versioning, task management, error handling, and exception flows
n n - n
Conduct thorough debugging, unit testing, and performance optimization of BPM workflows
n n - n
Support CI/CD integration for workflow deployment and version control
n n - n
Continuously evaluate and improve automation solutions to align with evolving business needs

Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Flowable BPM (open-source or enterprise), including BPMN, CMMN, and DMN modeling
n n - n
Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot development
n n - n
Expertise in RESTful API integration and service orchestration
n n - n
Deep understanding of process design best practices: scalability, reusability, and performance optimization
n n - n
Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex BPM workflows
n n - n
Experience with CI/CD pipelines in a process automation context

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in process automation or software development roles

At least 2 years of direct experience working with Flowable BPM
n n - n
Prior experience working in agile, cross-functional teams and delivering automation solutions in enterprise environments

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
n n
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
