Piper Companies We are seeking an

experienced Full Stack Engineer

with

moderate technical expertise

in core

Java or Scala

and

Big Data technologies . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

software development ,

data processing , and

cloud-based systems

while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams in an

agile environment .

Responsibilities of the Full Stack Engineer:

Design, develop, document, test, deploy, and provide production support for system components Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery from initiation to implementation Work independently or with a globally dispersed cross-functional team on medium-to-large initiatives Adhere to established agile methodologies and development standards Apply project management and SDLC processes for complex IT projects

Qualifications of the Full Stack Engineer:

Moderate Java or Scala experience Strong understanding of Big Data technologies (Spark, Impala, Hive, Hadoop infrastructure) Experience with Rule Engine technologies (IBM ODM, Drools), Hibernate, Spring, and Java Message Service (JMS) Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies Knowledge of data structures, design patterns, and frameworks Preferred: Exposure to Google Cloud Platform and Python development Preferred: Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)

Compensation of the Full Stack Engineer:

Salary Range: $100,000 - $142,250, based on experience Location: Onsite in Cary, NC (Hybrid work model) Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, parental leave, and sick leave as required by law
