We are currently seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to be a key resource on a technical services team for our client, Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS ) . **Location of job: Hybrid. Candidates must be local to Austin, TX.** Responsibilities The Worker will be expected to lead the transition of the TXMAP codebase, which is currently built on the .NET Xamarin platform, to .NET MAUI, enabling the Department’s TXMAP iOS and Android mobile apps to continue functioning. Other special requirements Migrate the TXMAP mobile application from the discontinued Microsoft Xamarin platform to the new Microsoft .Net Multi-platform App UI (MAUI) framework. Qualifications 8 years experience with the .Net platform 8 years experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 1 year experience with mobile development for Android and Apple mobile devices Preferred 5 years of Atlassian Tool Suite, mainly JIRA 2 years experience migrating mobile applications from Microsoft Xamarin to .Net Multi-platform App UI (MAUI) 2 years experience with State of Texas applications Overview Allied Consultants offers its family of consultants excellent rates, a local support staff, and an attractive benefits package which includes medical insurance (Allied shares a percentage of the cost), life insurance, a matching 401(k) plan and a cafeteria plan.
