Generation Mid-Level Structural Engineer
POWER Engineers, Member of WSP is seeking a Mid Level Structural Engineer to work in our Generation Civil/Structural/Architectural Department in our Boise, ID office.
Job Summary Of Roles And Responsibilities
Mid-level structural engineer with experience in structural steel and reinforced concrete analysis and engineering for heavy industrial projects Technical knowledge of building codes and material specifications Working knowledge of structural analysis and design software Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, individually and as part of a project team Good communication and interpersonal skills
Required Education/Experience
5+ years of structural engineering experience ABET-accredited BS Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering EIT obtained Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship
Desired Education/Experience
PE license obtained at least in one State Knowledge and/or ability to learn 3D modeling software Experience in power generation, transmission, and distribution projects Experience with RISA or STAAD software A strong understanding of structural building codes. Seismic analysis and design Dynamic foundation analysis
