Overview
Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Manages, leads, and facilitates all human resource functions for the El Paso Children’s Hospital in accordance with applicable policies, practices, laws, and regulatory agency requirements. Ensures effective implementation and communication of Human Resource practices, programs, and processes within the organization. Provides support and guidance to hospital officials on HR best practices, innovations, and legal parameters. Acts as a liaison with El Paso County Hospital District regarding contracted HR services. Required Skills
Extensive knowledge of Human Resources principles, laws, regulations, and standards. Ability to strategize, plan, organize, develop, and implement complex HR programs, goals, policies, and procedures. Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex problems, identify key issues, and evaluate alternatives. Leadership skills to inspire and guide individuals toward organizational goals. Strategic leadership that aligns HR systems with the organization’s vision and values. Personal commitment to the hospital’s mission, vision, and values. Required Experience
Minimum of five years of HR management experience. Experience in developing and implementing HR programs. Healthcare experience is required. License/Certification
Professional HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred. Education and Training
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred. Location & Position
