Location: Suburban Hospital, Bethesda, MD-Blood Bank
PRN/Day Shift / 7:00am-3:30pm
General Summary
Accurately performs routine and special clinical laboratory tests in one or more disciplines including quality control and equipment maintenance to ensure accurate results. Performs R&D activities and maintains quality control records. Assists in researching and resolving technical and operational problems.
Education
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Medical Technology or related discipline for Medical Technologist Documentation of minimum Laboratory CE points required per evaluation year Licensure/Certification/Registration: MT (ASCP), or equivalent, relevant to the discipline
Experience
Three (3) years full time experience in the discipline; preferably the most recent two (2) years of experience at Suburban Hospital Authorization to Work in the United States: Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position.
Salary Range: Minimum 45.88/hour - Maximum 45.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
