The IT/Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between technical staff and RCPAMS users, gathering requirements, documenting processes, and providing subject matter expertise on system functionality. This position will analyze user needs, develop functional specifications, and support system testing and training activities. Overview Of Role
The IT/Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between technical staff and RCPAMS users, gathering requirements, documenting processes, and providing subject matter expertise on system functionality. This position will analyze user needs, develop functional specifications, and support system testing and training activities.
Roles And Responsibilities
Gather and document user requirements for system enhancements and modifications Develop and maintain RCPAMS documentation and training materials Provide training to stakeholders, community leads, and user communities Support system testing, including user acceptance testing (UAT) Assist with Help Desk support, particularly for Tier 2 issues Develop, manage, and execute system reports Work with users to implement processes for complex report requests Participate in meetings and working groups to represent user needs Document business processes and workflows Support the project manager with administrative tasks and reporting Analyze system data and usage patterns to identify improvement opportunities Contribute to Monthly Status Reports and other project documentation Ensure documentation remains current and reflects changes in the RCPAMS platform
Educational And Certification Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field required ITIL certification or business analysis certification preferred 5+ years of experience in IT business analysis or related role 3+ years of experience with government IT systems 3+ years of experience with report development and data analysis Experience with training development and delivery Knowledge of IT service management best practices Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Active SECRET clearance required at contract start
