Are you a talented application developer interested in joining the State of Utah's Department of Technology Services (DTS) team at the Utah State Hospital (USH)? We are looking for someone who possesses excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills, and can perform advanced-level Information Technology related duties to support USH business needs. In this role, you will provide technical assistance for developed software, discuss system requirements with end users, offer software suggestions and recommendations to help them understand potential limitations and challenges, and analyze and review data, report findings, interpret results, and make recommendations. Your primary duties will be: Build and maintain a full-stack .NET Electronic Health Record (EHR). Design, implement, test, and maintain development projects. Provide technical assistance for developed software. Discuss system requirements with end users, offering software suggestions and recommendations. Analyze and review data, report findings, interpret results, and make recommendations. Plan, organize, and prioritize workload to meet deadlines. Perform advanced IT duties supporting USH business needs. Application development, specifically SQL Server, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, Blazor and AWS. Plan, organize, and prioritize time and workload to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines. Preference may given to candidates with good AWS experience. This position may be filled as an IT Analyst III pay range $41.59- $70.69 or underfilled as an IT Analyst II with salary range $35.09- $59.63. This hybrid position requires two days a week in the office, including mandatory meetings, and allows remote work within Utah. Remote work eligibility is determined by agency management and can change at their discretion. The office is at the Utah State Hospital 1300 East Center Street, Provo, UT. Why join our team? Health Insurance - Public Employee Health Program (PEHP): 3 medical plan options. Choose a Traditional or High Deductible Health Plan. There is an Opt-Out Cash Benefit option for those that have other medical insurance coverage. 5 dental plan options, with an Opt-Out Cash Benefit option for those that have other dental insurance coverage. 2 vision plan options under EyeMed or OptiCare. Retirement - Utah Retirement Systems (URS): Employees who have any service credit with an employer covered by the Utah Retirement Systems prior to 7/1/2011 are in the Tier I Public Employees System. Employees hired on or after 7/1/2011 and who have never been in the URS retirement system have two options for retirement in the Tier II System. Tier 2 Hybrid Retirement System. Employer contributes an amount equal to 10% of your salary between both plans (pension and 401(k)). Tier 2 Defined Contribution Plan. Employer contributes an amount equal to 10% of your salary to a 401(k) plan only. Employer contributions to your 401(k) are vested after four years. Paid Time Off: Annual leave and sick leave are accrued at 4 hours per pay period each (4 hours annual, 4 hours sick). Annual leave amounts increase with years of service. We have 12 paid holidays.
