Sr Systems Administrator/IT Specialist

MAG Aerospace . MAG Aerospace is offering up to a $10k sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. The Senior System Administrator/IT Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day operational IT support, including supporting a closed restricted network and other DoD guest systems at various classifications. Tasks include installation, troubleshooting, and administrative tasks related to maintaining and enhancing information systems. This role offers an opportunity to be involved in the newly formed PM Cyber & Space and contribute to the rapidly growing Cyber and Space Program Office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform systems planning, management, analysis, and integration of hardware, software, networks, and procedures. Update, upgrade, security harden, and maintain servers (physical, virtual, cloud). Configure security settings following STIG guidelines on Windows, Linux, and network technologies. Script infrastructure as code using tools like Ansible. Maintain systems including Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange, SharePoint, Office 365, Power BI, Power Apps, SQL, VMware, RHEL, and others. Troubleshoot server, network, desktop, and software issues. Support help desk operations and assist off-site locations and users. Requirements
Minimum Skills and Experience
Experience with installation, configuration, troubleshooting of cloud services, virtualization, routers, switches, VTC systems. Knowledge of system security policies and accreditation. Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills. Ability to organize resources, prioritize, and provide technical training. Active TS with SCI eligibility security clearance. Minimum 5 years of system administration/IT experience. Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related experience; familiarity with DoD 8140 standards. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in building IT infrastructure, scripting, Cisco CCNA, security hardening, military environment experience, compliance with DoD policies. Other Notes
Position contingent on physical and medical requirements, with travel up to 5%. Compensation & Benefits
