The Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority is seeking an Application Analyst 2 for the IT Services Division. The Applications Analyst 2 will assist with requirements, testing, and rollout of new functionality and enhancements across ABC systems that interface with Distribution Center applications. This role is critical in assisting with coordination of testing flows and the organization of effort with the Packaged Application Support and Development teams. This position will also serve as IT liaison for the Logistics Division to ensure support and service meet the needs of the Authority.
Areas of Responsibility
Provides support, administration, maintenance, health monitoring, usage, and overall compliance on the platform Ensure appropriate stakeholders are engaged in resolving equipment and device issues Partners with business and IT stakeholders to identify and develop requirements, and implement configuration-based enhancements based on industry best practices Manages service request prioritization, and serves as technical and functional subject matter expert for the platform, enabling user efficiency Coordinates change and release management efforts associated with the platform and other ABC systems Works with other IT teams to resolve data and interface issues with ABC systems including root cause analysis Develop and maintain internal technical documentation, manuals, policies, and SOPs Develop and maintain data mappings for data integration between Distribution Center applications and other ABC systems Ensure appropriate stakeholders are engaged in resolving equipment and device issues Minimum Qualifications
Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex software application related problems Exceptional customer service skills Ability to analyze raw results, determine/resolve bottlenecks and create meaningful documentation of testing scenarios and results Experience troubleshooting integration management, security and application issues Possesses excellent problem-solving capabilities Ability to balance multiple assignments simultaneously based on priority and complexity Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting and maintaining a SaaS/COTS environment Experience in developing and implementing new policies and procedures that provide guidance over internal processes Interface experience understanding data flows Experience with WMS - Manhattan Associates, MHE Sortation Software - DMW&H Shiraz and ServiceNow Associates degree or higher
