Position Summary: We seek a professional with 7-9 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and L2 integration. The
Site Project Coordinator for MES Implementation
will be the primary coordinator for all MES-related activities at the Halol/Baska sites. This role requires full-time support to ensure smooth execution, alignment with global MES strategy, and timely delivery of milestones to improve manufacturing efficiency, compliance, and digital transformation. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams such as QA, IT, SAP, business users, and external vendors and infrastructure leads. Responsibilities include stakeholder management, project timeline management, risk mitigation, infrastructure readiness, change management, and compliance with site validation and quality standards. As the site’s single point of contact for MES deployment, the coordinator plays a critical role in fostering collaboration and successful implementation. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to global regulations (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP, GAMP5). Previous experience with Werum (Korber Pharma) in the pharma industry is a significant advantage. Project Coordination:
Lead and coordinate all MES implementation activities, ensuring alignment with global strategies. Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the main contact for site-level stakeholders, including QA, QA IT, IT, SAP, and production & engineering teams. Vendor & Partner Collaboration:
Work with MES vendors, infrastructure teams, and integration partners for seamless execution. Timeline & Risk Management:
Manage project schedules, track milestones, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans. Infrastructure & Readiness:
Ensure site infrastructure (network, servers, systems) is prepared and validated for MES deployment. Compliance & Validation:
Oversee compliance with quality standards, IT validation (CSV), and regulatory requirements. Communication & Reporting:
Maintain clear communication with the Global Project Manager and stakeholders; provide regular updates and escalate issues as needed. Change Management:
Facilitate change control processes and support user readiness and adoption. Travel Estimate:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Production, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related fields. Preferred: Master's (MBA, M.Tech, M.Pharm) with specialization in Project Management, Operations, Automation, or Pharma Technology. Specific Certifications:
PMP (preferred), GAMP5 or CSV training for compliance. Experience:
7-9 years managing IT or digital transformation projects in pharma manufacturing, with hands-on experience in MES, L2/PLC, SAP, Edge Cloud IoT, and validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ). Experience working on the shop floor with QA, IT, and business teams in regulated environments. Skills: Functional:
Project management in IT/digital systems, MES platforms, L2/PLC, SAP, GxP, CSV, validation, manufacturing processes, stakeholder coordination. Behavioral:
Strong communication, proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, team collaboration. Additional Skills:
Data analytics, Edge Cloud IoT, L2 integration, SAP integration, network and database knowledge.
