As a Database Developer, you will be responsible for MS SQL database operations and maintenance, as well as creating quick and performant database queries, implementation and management of large database systems and programs (including PowerBI). We are looking for a talented and motivated analytics professional that can solve business problems through critical and abstract thinking. The person in this role must have excellent communication skills and the ability to take complex problems and present simplified solutions with little oversight. This role requires the employee to work from our Knoxville - Parkside campus. Relocation assistance is provided. Responsibilities
Create, implement, and maintain complex stored procedures and functions using T-SQL. Create relevant and meaningful reporting deliverables (Power BI). Examine existing SQL queries for potential speed enhancements. Make fresh query suggestions. Create data migration methods and scripts. Consolidate and optimize available data warehouse infrastructure. Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders in ensuring data warehouse architecture development and utilization. Ensure all data warehouse architecture codes are maintained in a version control system. Requirements
A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Extensive knowledge of the MySQL database. Knowledge of creating SQL queries based on a specified structure and syntax. Strong MSSQL development skills (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS). Knowledge of OLTP and OLAP data structures. Experience in Data Warehouse development and CI. Solid understanding of stored procedure generation, debugging, and execution. Ability to deal with complicated database queries. Capability to work on concerns raised by the end users. Enthusiastic about their work and code quality. Extensive technical analysis and investigative capabilities. Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities. Learning mindset and team player.
