Remote SQL Database Developer and SQL Server Administrator Join us to apply for the Remote SQL Database Developer and SQL Server Administrator role at CapB InfoteK . CapB is seeking an MS SQL Database and Support Specialist to join our IT department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting MS SQL databases, performing T-SQL programming, triaging technical issues, and handling customer support requests related to a legacy .NET application. This role requires a deep understanding of MS SQL Server, proficiency in T-SQL, and excellent problem-solving skills to ensure high performance and user satisfaction. This is a part-time role, with 20 hours per week, and may require one day in the Denver office for approximately 4 hours (manager's discretion; can be fully remote). Issue Triage and Technical Support: Act as the first point of contact for identifying and troubleshooting database-related issues. Prioritize and resolve issues promptly to minimize impact on operations and customer satisfaction. Customer and Internal Support: Respond to inquiries and support tickets with technical guidance and solutions. Collaborate with the agency to understand requirements and provide necessary support for database and application functionalities. T-SQL Development: Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support application needs and data manipulation. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain clear documentation for database configurations, setups, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience in MS SQL Server database administration and T-SQL programming. Strong understanding of database structures, principles, and best practices. Ability to effectively triage and resolve complex database issues. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication skills for technical support and guidance. Familiarity with the .NET framework and its integration with MS SQL Server. Experience with case management systems.
