Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate with shared service helpdesk supervisor to manage and resolve open IT support tickets, often addressing issues directly. Act as liaison between technical team and the business stakeholders to translate functional needs into system specifications. Serve as the site liaison for cybersecurity compliance, working closely with shared services to ensure controls (e.g., NIST SP 800-171) are implemented, updated, and documented. Author, revise, and maintain some procedure and policy documents to support compliance and operational clarity. Support manufacturing engineering teams in deploying and monitoring IoT devices, ensuring reliable data backups and secure network communication. Contribute to technology strategy development by aligning site needs with digital tools, infrastructure improvements, and operational goals. Coordinate hardware setup, including laptops, printers, and mobile devices for both office and factory personnel. Assist in the rollout and troubleshooting of software tools related to production and business operations, such as digital work order systems and manufacturing applications.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in IT coordination or systems support, preferably within a manufacturing or defense-related environment. Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards relevant to DoD contracting (e.g., NIST, CMMC) Experience working in hybrid IT environments with remote/shared service departments. Excellent interpersonal, documentation, and project coordination skills. Ability to manage technical priorities in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+ Desired
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with IoT device management in manufacturing settings Experience implementing software deployment strategies that align with business goals Competency in technical writing for procedures and policy documentation Good general IT knowledge, including Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Teams and basic understanding of networking principles. Understanding of Active Directory and user account management. Basic troubleshooting of printers, laptops, desktops and mobile devices.
