Overview
We are seeking an
Infrastructure Specialist 2
in our Division of Information Technology Services. Duties include, but are not limited to: Install, maintain, configure, upgrade, and/or administer hardware and/or software; diagnose, analyze, and resolve issues; create, organize, file, and maintain documentation Review and monitor enterprise security systems; take appropriate action and respond to alarm/alerts per DYS policy and procedure; maintain, update, and manage user access controls and security tools; provide system, system owners, and IT support staff with effective vulnerability mitigation strategies, meaningful vulnerability metrics, security controls and/or corrective actions for mitigating technical and business risk Interface with other platforms from a hardware and/or software perspective; answer questions and present informal mentorship opportunities to peers and/or lower-level staff via conversation, observation, or technical documentation Travel to DYS facilities and regional offices to resolve issues 48 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating multiple technology domains including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.
Or
completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems;
and
30 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating multiple technology domains including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.
Or
completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems;
and
24 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating multiple technology domains including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.
-Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
