The Opportunity Instructional Designer, Restaurant Training. You will serve as an Instructional Designer supporting the creation and delivery of operational training materials for over 130,000 team members across the United States. In this role, you will be involved in every stage of the training development process—analyzing needs, planning content, writing and editing materials, developing resources, and distributing final products. You will contribute to training initiatives for new menu items, equipment, technology rollouts, and more. Your work will also include updates to ongoing training resources such as plans, checklists, courses, videos, job aids, recipe cards, and other essential materials that support daily restaurant operations. What You'll Do Collaborate with subject matter experts across internal teams to understand training needs and project scope in order to help build effective training strategies for Restaurant Training leadership. Assist in reviewing and handing off standard operating procedures with subject matter experts to ensure consistency and best practices are maintained across all locations. Use finalized procedures to help develop training content—including recipes and step-by-step guides—that follows brand voice with a conversational yet professional tone. Contribute to the creation of engaging new training materials as outlined in project strategies; formats may include eLearning modules, videos, print assets, and digital tools designed for a diverse audience of adult learners. Update existing training materials as needed to keep content current with company changes. Prepare files for final delivery via the learning management system (LMS), intranet, or print—ensuring all necessary languages and localizations are included. Support administration of the LMS by uploading/archiving files and assisting with certifications and enrollments. What You'll Bring to the Table Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in English, Communications, Graphic Design, Human Resources, or a related field. Up to 2 years of experience in Training, Restaurant or Retail Operations, HR, or a related area. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook). Strong working knowledge of Adobe InDesign; familiarity with Illustrator and Photoshop is preferred. Experience with Articulate Rise 360; knowledge of Articulate Storyline 360 is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Keen attention to detail. Ability to solve problems logically and stay organized while working under moderate supervision.
