The
IT Integrated Systems Lab Analyst
provides advanced technical and analytical support for a suite of Lab applications ensuring seamless integration, data integrity, and operational continuity across the lab and broader health system. They are an integral piece of a team leading design, implementation, and maintenance of complex LIS workflows, instrument interfaces, and middleware configurations.
This position will provide support for numerous laboratory applications (Data Innovations Instrument Manager, Abbott Alinity IQ, SCC SoftBank/Lab/BI, BloodTrack, etc.). However, this position does not provide direct support for the Epic Beaker module.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:
Bachelors degree in an Information Systems / Clinical Informatics related field or 4 years of related IT experience in a Healthcare environment.
Work Experience :
5+ Years within I.T. Three (3) Years Hospital Health Care Organizations Business Analysis
Lab Systems, DI and/or other Lab middleware strongly preferred
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact) Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking) Writing /Composing (Correspondence /Reports)
Other Skills: Analytical, Design, Research, Statistical
Advanced Education: Bachelors Degree Major: Bachelor's degree in an Information Systems / Clinical Informatics related field or 4 years of related IT/Clinical experience in a Healthcare environment
Work Schedule: On Call
Other Requirements: Be available to work on site (after hours) as needed Healthcare Information Technology experience. Understands the limitations and opportunities presented by the applications supported. Ability to recommend process improvements based upon industry standards in addition to resolving integrated process issues. Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously, be able to prioritize effectively, and meet overlapping deadlines.
