Description
The Inventory Control Operator is required to coordinate all functions of Kitting. The ordering of ingredients, inspection of ingredients and materials, execution of kitting according to the customer's batch sheet, and execution of all data sheet entries and documentation on all paperwork. The operator's immediate customer is the VTIS Operator and must ensure ingredient pre-kits are ready on demand. The Inventory Control Operator must demonstrate the ability to understand the Kitting processes and perform necessary work orders for the assigned area/equipment. The operator must be able to order and return ingredients as per CNP SOPs and be responsible for all GMPs, safety, and quality standards for the area.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Know, adhere to, and train all safe practices in all assigned work areas. Know, adhere to, and ensure the Inventory Control team adheres to all quality processes. Demonstrates knowledge of food safety and GMP processes through compliant behavior and coaches team members as needed. Procure all batch sheets for the production run and verify against the production schedule. Order ingredients from Line Supply in a timely fashion and ensure on-time delivery. Inventory Control Operator will engage with Redzone application activities and practices via Apple iPad, including but not limited to, Shift-to-Shifts, Batch Sheets, Safety Walks, Forum/Chat communication, Issues/Action activities, Learning Module activities, Shut-Downs/Pre-Ops, etc. Maintains accurate Redzone Data Sheet and/or Pre-Kit Sheet documentation. Accurate Data Sheet entry and documentation for all products produced (i.e., material/ingredient information such as item number, reference number, Lot number, and weight). Always maintain GMP standards and CNP Safety standards. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). Ability to change from one unit of measure to another (i.e., gallons to pounds, percent to batch) Operating a forklift Performs other duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent Forklift experience or ability to be certified 2+ years in warehousing or manufacturing environment preferred RF experience preferred Performance Measures: Perform to target the following Key Performance Measures (KPI's)

Equipment Operated:
This job operates in a warehouse production environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as Windows laptop/desktop computers and Apple iPads. This role routinely uses equipment such as scales, machine controls, stretch wrap machine, Fork Lifts, and Pallet Jacks.
Additional Compensation - Bonus Potential:
You will be eligible to participate in the Gehl Food & Beverage Bonus Program for non-exempt employees. Under this Program, quarterly and annual bonus payouts are based on achievement of targeted production numbers. Gehl Foods, LLC reserves the right to change the Bonus Program at anytime, without notice.
Working Conditions: Frequently exposed to wet and varying temperature conditions between 60-130 degrees Fahrenheit, loud noise, vibration, moving machinery/electrical parts, risk of electrical shock, airborne particles, high/precarious places, toxic/caustic chemicals, allergens including soy, milk and milk by-products and fumes from food processing equipment.
