We are currently seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our Calhoun, GA location reporting to our VP of Planning and Inventory Management. The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for completing the necessary purchase order processing responsibilities. The role will support procurement and supply chain functions to ensure suppliers are meeting our product needs while minimizing out-of-stock and overstock positions.
Responsibilities Include:
- Own procurement PO processing for assigned products and/or suppliers
- Enter POs given by Purchasing Specialists into CAMS
- Maintain PO due dates, production status, quantities and associated information in CAMS
- Complete container loading process, once appropriate information is provided
- Complete container costing process and ensure all necessary paperwork is available and stored appropriately
- Assist with general Procurement and Planning master data maintenance
- Serve as central point of contact for general inventory and planning inquiries from internal business partners
- Run and distribute reports to business teams as needed
- If required, serve as supplementary resource for additional procurement duties
Qualifications Include:
- Required : 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain or related functions. High School Diploma or GED. CAMS/AS400 knowledge or ability to learn required CAMS procurement functions quickly.
- Preferred : Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or Business. Procurement experience. Data analysis experience.
- Technical : Proficient in CAMS and Excel. Ability to learn and leverage supplier systems and portals.
- Skills : Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to spot and quickly correct mistakes or inconsistencies. Prioritizing time and workload appropriately. Ability to meet deadlines and handle time-sensitive tasks effectively.
