The
IT Project Coordinator
will be responsible for supporting project managers on internal applications as well as business processes related to these core functions including integrated systems. In this role, the IT Project Coordinator will work alongside an existing team of IT Project Managers. This role will provide coordination among the project management teams by supporting the planning, execution, and completion of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. This role will be responsible for maintaining project plans, monitoring progress, coordinating resources, and facilitating communication.
Detailed list of Job Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate and support projects throughout the project lifecycle Support project management activities. Assist project managers with project issues and risks to prevent potential barriers to project. Collaborate with business analysts and business owners to help define the project scope and objectives.
Follow up on status of tasks across all IT teams, as requested by the project manager(s), escalate as needed.
Prepare and submit correct documentation into system's used by the agency. Review with agency and other IT teams project schedules and milestone dates. Help create and maintain relevant project artifacts such as project charter/scope, project plans, back log list, stories, status reports and operational checklists.
Preferred Qualifications
:
Minimum two (2) years of experience working in IT environments Practical experience creating and implementing project plans and schedules according to project goals and objectives. Working knowledge of project management concepts as defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Ability to self-motivate and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to adjust to changing situations to meet emergencies or changing program or production requirements. Ability to work independently and in a team environment with varying levels, team members, peers, management, business stakeholders. Ability to prioritize, execute and manage work in a matrixed, high-pressure environment. Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate with diverse user groups and provide support to both technical and non-technical audiences. Hands-on experience effectively using MS Office tools Hands-on experience in managing escalated issues and dispute resolution of any components of a project with the ability to understand when to escalate issues to senior management. Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality Prior Government or Healthcare experience is preferred, but not required Understanding and knowledge of Agile methodology and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
