They are seeking an Application Engineer to develop and maintain database and web applications that support healthcare revenue cycle operations, working closely with business users to ensure requirements are met and providing technical guidance.
Responsibilities:
Develop, support, and maintain database and web applications supporting the healthcare revenue cycle.
Collaborate with project teams to complete application development tasks according to project plans and communicate obstacles.
Assist in developing prototypes/models and identifying data sources.
Follow technical and development standards when developing database and web components.
Create and execute application unit testing plans, document, and resolve defects.
Coordinate system and user acceptance testing as appropriate.
Create and maintain application documentation.
Assist in analyzing and implementing change requests and enhancements.
Resolve application issues and participate in on-call rotations.
Develop application controls to mitigate operational and financial risks.
Act as liaison between Development Solutions and business users.
Participate in application design sessions.
Provide technical guidance to business users.
Devise technical solutions to support business activities.
Perform application monitoring, maintenance, and enhancements as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of C# application development experience.
Experience with ASP.net, Node, React, SQL, and cloud technologies is a plus.
1-3 years of experience in challenging projects related to business, systems analysis, or systems development.
Thorough understanding of IT processes, project lifecycles, and SDLC.
Effective communication skills across various media.
Strong collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience.
Ability to maintain wired high-speed internet with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 15 Mbps upload.
