This is a direct hire, temporary position. The work assignment will start immediately and last for approximately 4 -5 months (est.)
Summary:
Under the direction of the Inside Sales Manager, this person is responsible for supporting the Sales team and external customers by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•Researches and completes the following Environmental Regulation Documents at customers' request in an expedited manner: REACH, ROHS, Conflict Mineral/Dodd-Frank.
•Receives, clarifies, and highlights pertinent data and verifies orders from end-user customers, manufacturer's reps, authorized distributors, and/or direct sales personnel.
•Contacts preparers of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
•Compiles, sorts, and verifies the accuracy of order data to be entered and forwards information to the Order Entry team for processing.
•Answers phone calls from customers and forwards to the appropriate personnel.
•Collaborates with other Lapp departments to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Proficiency in the English language both written and verbal. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
WORK LOCATION:
This position is located in the Florham Park, NJ office. Incumbents will be required to work a hybrid schedule (3x per week in office- Tues & Wed +1). Home office environments must be appropriate for 8 hours of dedicated, non-interrupted work.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 360 with a primary focus on Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word. Experience modifying PDF documents and using screen capture tools is preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and color vision.
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this role is $24.00-27.00 (paid weekly).
