Operators will lead in all aspects of operation of Lamination or Press lines including changeovers, machine start-up, running, and shut-down. Support operations in becoming World Class in all aspects of the business, starting with Safety. Run all jobs in accordance with customer specification, manufacturing specification, print specification, color folders, and standard operating procedures. Ensure all appropriate paperwork is filled out accurately and completely, including production reports, job verification sheets, ink usage sheets, QA reports, roll tickets, S.O.C sheets, and others as assigned. Work with and direct the press assistant and pit crew to minimize job change-over and down time. Train and direct the press assistant to become efficient at all required assistant duties defined in each level of the assistant training matrix. Understand and comply with product safety regulations. Comply with all 5S and WCM initiatives, including cross-training and moving to the work. Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor or management. General production, packaging, machine operating, lamination, machine operation. 1+ year of manufacturing experience, Ability to work 12-hour shifts, Capability to be on feet for the entirety of the shift, Proficiency in entering data into a computer system, Ability to function independently, Capability to lift 50 lbs. The facility is clean, temperature-controlled, and prints on foil and packaging for pharmaceutical companies. The work environment is very clean and temperature-controlled, featuring large printing presses. Employees will work both as a team and independently, with shifts running from Monday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. There is a potential for a 5-day work week, although this is unlikely. Workers must be able to handle an adhesive smell throughout the facility. This is a permanent position based out of Shelbyville, Kentucky. The pay range for this position is $56,000.00 - $60,000.00/yr. Direct placement- benefits day 1 - Review every 60 days for chance at hourly increase - Stipends and days off per company. This is a fully onsite position in Shelbyville, KY. This position is anticipated to close on Aug 13, 2025.
