The Lead Data Architect for Online Solutions at The Home Depot plays a vital role in collaborating with key stakeholders to identify data collection needs and develop technical specifications. This position supports the transition of business requirements into robust databases, data warehouses, and data streams, working closely with engineers to meet internal customer data needs. The role involves analyzing, planning, and defining the data architecture framework, focusing on security, reference data, metadata, and master data. Data Architects are responsible for creating and implementing data management processes that ensure accuracy and accessibility of data. Key Responsibilities: Business Collaboration (20%):
Utilize deep business knowledge to inform solution approaches; cultivate trust and collaboration with internal customers and cross-functional teams; work with other organizations to explore new tools and maintain technical agility for advanced analytics. Project Management & Team Support (25%):
Lead and manage complex projects and teams; guide prioritization of work while ensuring quality deliverables; collaborate with managers to distribute workloads effectively; serve as a technical subject matter expert on predictive and prescriptive analytics; implement Agile project delivery protocols for reliable analytics. Solution Development (30%):
Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders; convey the impacts of recommendations to ensure alignment and successful implementation; develop solutions that transform data into actionable information. Technical Exploration & Development (25%):
Guide project teams through requirements gathering, design, and development phases; provide technical education on advanced analytics to the analytics community; foster the growth of analytics teams in predictive and prescriptive analytics. Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

Overnight travel is typically less than 5% to 20% of the time. Physical Requirements:
Most time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunities to move. Rare occasions may require lifting light articles. Working Conditions:
Comfortable indoor area with infrequent and non-objectionable unpleasant conditions. Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older, legally permitted to work in the United States, and demonstrate 3 or more of the following: Knowledge of database architecture frameworks. Procedures for enhancing database accuracy and accessibility. Ability to develop requirements for the business's data needs related to databases, data warehouses, and data streams. Knowledge of the business environment to support stakeholder data needs. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in a quantitative field (Analytics, Computer Science, Math, Physics, Statistics, Management, etc.) or relevant work experience. Experience writing specifications and requirements, including configuring Adobe Analytics for site tagging. Proficiency with data tools such as GCP Big Query, Mini Tab, Workfront, or SQL. Understanding of infrastructure supporting clickstream data for marketing insights. Experience in translating requests into criteria and variable definitions. Minimum Education:
