Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage, coach, and support the engineering team and part of the Design Engineering Team.
- Client-facing leadership role, interacting with end clients and developing new business.
- Implement and monitor technical strategy performance metrics.
- Communicate engineering team goals with engineering staff members.
- Coordinate internal teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business development or related roles.
- Proven experience in program management and oversight.
- Background in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Experience in training and development, with the ability to create and deliver training programs.
- Experience in strategic planning.
- PE or PMP required.
- Candidate must have diverse experience across some of the following areas:
- Generation Interconnect (GI) Feasibility Studies, Power Flow Analysis/Studies, System Impact Studies, Volt/Var Analysis, Voltage Flicker Analysis, Voltage Drop, Voltage Regulators, Power Factor, Transformer Inrush, Capacitor Banks, Power Quality Analysis, Power Factor Analysis, IVVC (Integrated Volt Var Control), Renewables (Solar, Wind, Battery Storage), Distributed Generation, BESS (Battery Energy Storage System), Grid Interconnection DER (Distributed Energy Resource) and DER (Distributed Energy Resource) Grounding Studies, DPAC (Distribution Protection & Controls), P&C (Protection & Controls) - usually a group at a utility, Feeder Coordination, Fuse Coordination, Recloser Coordination, Circuit Analysis, Distribution Outage Analysis, Relay Settings, Line Device (Switches, Reclosers, Fuses, Trip Savers) Settings, TCC (Time Current Curves), Arc Flash Analysis, Grid Improvement, Grid Optimization, System Reliability Indices (SAIDI, CAIDI, SAIFI, MAIFI, etc.), SOG (Self-Optimizing Grid), DA (Distribution Automation), and Self-Healing Grid.
