Lead Network Analyst Agency:

New Carrollton Federal Building (NCFB) 5000 Ellin Road Lanham, MD 20706. For all others, ad-hoc or recurring telework will be approved on a case-by-case basis. Required Certifications: Security Clearance:
Secret Skill Requirements, Experience and Expertise: Experience in analyzing trends, manipulating data in spreadsheets, and creating presentations for service providers and senior management. Knowledge of networks and unified communications technologies in a large-scale enterprise such as the IRS. Certifications: Standard PC Software – Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Project, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with large datasets and advanced Excel formulas. Experience coding SOAP and RESTful APIs for use in SharePoint and dashboards. Tool Experience: Cisco ISE, Riverbed, NetScout, Cisco Prime Assurance, HP Network Tools suite (HP NNMi, HPNA, HPOO). Familiarity with the Treasury and IRS network infrastructure. Understanding of network infrastructure, converged technologies, and network monitoring and management tools. Ability to obtain IRS clearances, LAN accounts, and badges. Technical writing skills. Responsibilities: Analyze reports from various network tools and tickets to identify deficiencies, trends, or indicators of network performance issues. Create detailed analysis and reports on deficiencies, providing recommendations for improvements at both engineer and macro levels. Work with the business units and IT organizations to identify issues, research solutions, and recommend network equipment purchases. Test and validate hardware and software installations related to network technologies.
