Job Description
We are seeking experienced
IT Project Managers
to support strategic initiatives within its growing technology organization. This is a
hybrid role
based in
Jacksonville, FL
and requires candidates to be
onsite from Day 1 . We are only considering
local candidates
with prior experience in the
banking/financial services industry
and strong expertise in
IT governance .
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects across various business units, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timelines. Work closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to deliver high-impact technology solutions. Apply IT governance frameworks to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies. Prepare and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, and risk logs. Facilitate project meetings, manage change requests, and ensure timely issue resolution. Serve as the primary point of contact between business and technology teams throughout the project life cycle.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager in a banking or financial services environment. Demonstrated knowledge of IT governance practices and regulatory compliance. Experience managing complex, multi-phase IT projects (applications, infrastructure, data, etc.). Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, etc.). Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and lead cross-functional teams.
Nice To Have
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification. Experience with Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodologies. Seniority level
