Application Security Architect & Developer Join to apply for the Application Security Architect & Developer role at BlueRock.io . This range is provided by BlueRock.io. Base pay range $130,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr Responsibilities include: Understanding common app runtime environments (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.) and threats against them. Developing innovative security protection mechanisms to proactively stop threats via user space and Linux kernel space mechanisms. Designing and building prototypes and production code for vulnerability detection and prevention. Developing for Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and private data centers. Qualifications (Must Haves): At least 7+ years of experience in application security development or monitoring for enterprise applications. Strong understanding of app runtimes, threats, and protection strategies. Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, Rust, and C/C++. Experience with frameworks like Django, Spring, Flask, NestJS, ASP.NET. Knowledge of containers, Kubernetes, Linux apps, and Linux kernel. Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD practices. Experience with Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure). Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related field. Nice to Have: Experience with microservices architecture. Knowledge of AI and ML applications. Experience with Linux Kernel security, monitoring, and eBPF. Familiarity with monitoring APIs like OpenTelemetry.
