Local Travel ICU Registered Nurse South of San Jose, CA
13-Week Contract | Up to $3,024/Week DOE
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing agency, is seeking a skilled and adaptable ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week local travel assignment at a top-tier facility just south of San Jose, California. If you have a strong clinical background and a passion for critical care, this is an excellent opportunity to work close to home while earning competitive weekly pay.
Job Description:

• Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Respond to life-threatening situations with precision and professionalism
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Willingness to float to Med-Surg unit if required
  

Shift Details:

• Full-time local travel contract (13 weeks)
• Day or night shifts may be available (confirm specifics with recruiter)
• Potential for contract extension based on performance and facility needs
  

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Active California RN License (unrestricted)
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications Required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
  

Required Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills
• EMR proficiency and previous float experience preferred
