DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: UT OB/GYN, abd, and/or neurosonology, and/or ophthalmology.
Location: Hermiston, OR 97838
Contract Type: Travel
Shift: Swing Shift- Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri
Contract Length: 13 weeks
DEFINITION OF POSITION:
- Provide health care services, applying sonic energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Perform ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in the following areas: OB/GYN, abdomen, and/or neurosonology, and/or ophthalmology. Demonstrates anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
- ARDMS (OB or abd) and BLS needed.
- Minimum 3 OB/GYN and abd experience required.
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited sonography program or equivalent. Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, or equivalent approved certification. Licensed in the State of Oregon as Ultrasonographer or Radiologic Technologist/Sonographer.
