Responsibilities of the Technical Solution Architect: Act as the primary technical point of contact for the client and project team, fostering strong relationships and understanding their business objectives and challenges. Collaborate closely with stakeholders, developers, functional consultants and other technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Analyze customers’ business requirements and application objectives to develop an application design to meet customers’ needs; including user interface, workflow, business process management and reports. Prepare and present presentation materials as required. Map client’s requirement with functionalities of Infor M3 application to develop implementation plan and customization plan. Responsible for technical specifications, solution testing and training and support if required. Apply extensive knowledge of the client’s business and industry to develop client's business processes. Drive the design and implementation of any integrations between Infor M3 and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability. Create comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents and data migration guides as needed. Provide technical leadership and oversight to development teams throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define testing strategies and ensure the quality and reliability of Infor M3 solutions. Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve complex issues and ensure the smooth operation of Infor M3 environments. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to Infor M3 and ERP systems, incorporating relevant advancements into solution designs. Required Skills and Experience: 5+ years proven experience with Infor M3 as a Technical Solution Architect or similar role. 5+ years of previous client-facing consulting experience is required to communicate and organize all technical components of the project. Strong experience in Infor M3 ERP and completed a minimum of 3 or more end-to-end M3 implementations. In-depth knowledge of Infor M3 Cloudsuite architecture, modules and technical components with the ability to facilitate technical conversations with key stakeholders. Sound working knowledge in several of the following functional streams: Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Financial Plan to Report, Production to Inventory, Plan to Inventory and/or Demand to Plan. Strong understanding of integration techniques and technologies, such as Infor ION, MEC and API frameworks. Proven experience integrating ISVs for builds and deployments. Experience with database technologies, preferably SQL Server or Oracle. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Proven ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a demonstrated initiative in taking ownership of all assigned responsibilities, deliverables, and results. Document-writing skills in clear, concise English. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Familiarity with licensing requirements and protocol. M3 compatible data and analytics tools (i.e. Birst) is beneficial. Willingness to travel to client sites as needed, up to 40% (during peak implementation time). Preferred System Knowledge and Experience: Infor M3 certification(s) are highly desired. Columbus offers a competitive benefits package to all full-time employees.
