Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing mechanical preventative maintenance procedures and repairs on Web Offset presses and Auxiliary equipment.
• Troubleshooting and repairing precision machinery while utilizing blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer specifications.
• Emphasizing proactive measures to reduce the need for reactive maintenance.
• Maintaining and repairing components on systems such as bearings, gear clutches, couplings, belt-driven and shaft-driven drives, and gearboxes.
• Following safety instructions and effectively communicating with Press operators and crew members.
• Performing basic welding and mechanical tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, understanding the urgency of equipment downtimes.
• Basic knowledge of precision testing and calibration equipment for preventative maintenance.
• Familiarity with components and systems such as bearings, clutches, gears, and pneumatic systems.
• Strong ability to follow instructions, troubleshoot, and respond quickly to equipment malfunctions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Must provide your own set of tools.
• Proficient in safely operating both hand and power tools.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating schedule, which may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
