Physician (Oregon) – Telehealth Mental Health for Healthcare Professionals
Position Type: (4-8 hrs/wk) | Remote | Contract
Position Overview
Tend Health is seeking a licensed physician (MD/DO) Licensed in Oregon to provide assessments and medication management via telehealth. This role involves working collaboratively with psychologists who provide psychotherapy to shared clients, primarily healthcare professionals, including medical residents and fellows. The ideal candidate is looking to expand their clinical practice in a concierge-style telehealth model within an innovative and growing startup.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct brief and ongoing assessments and medication management
Provide seamless support through secure video sessions, phone, and messaging platforms
Tailor services to meet client needs with flexible scheduling
Engage in case discussions and collaborate with psychologists and other health providers
Refer clients to additional services as needed
Qualifications
Education: MD/DO in Psychiatry, Family Medicine or relevant specialty, licensed to practice in Oregon. (active, valid and unrestricted license)
Experience: 5+ years of clinical experience in mental health care
Experience in medical settings, integrated care teams, or health professions training programs preferred
Licensure: Must hold an active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Oregon along with active DEA
Certification: Board-certified in Psychiatry or a related field preferred but not required.
Passion for providing one-on-one consultation and medication management
Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends
Skills and Competencies
Strong understanding of telehealth regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs), telehealth platforms, and other digital tools.
Experience working in medical settings, on integrated teams in health professions training programs preferred. Experience teaching in residency programs or working in clinical settings is preferred.

Ability to work effectively in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Compensation
Competitive hourly rates (starting at $150 to $200 per hour)
