Engineering Technician
We are recruiting an EngineeringTechnicians for DoD SkillBridge Internships on behalf of our client Texas Instruments, a global semiconductor company who designs, manufactures, tests and sells analog and embedded processing chips in Santa Clara, California.
In this role you will closely work with various product lines which are responsible for a diverse product portfolio to ensure lab users are fully empowered to release new products to market. Your responsible for technical and operational functions in support of engineering activities such as calibration, equipment management, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems including PCB boards, equipment repairs, test bench setup and maintenance. Along with supporting specialized test equipment such as Temperature Forcing Units (TFUs) and Thermal Chambers (TCs) to ensure maximized uptime. In addition, support lab users through written and verbal communication to ensure equal cooperation across all technicians, engineers, product lines and team members to drive toward common organizational level goals and milestones.

Minimum requirements:
3-8 years Electrical and/or Mechanical experience (personal or professional) Pursuit of an associate degree in any technical related field and/or equivalent
Military Electronics training Self-driven with ability to identify and resolve issues to improve equipment performance. Good troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systems. Excellent organizational, teaming and troubleshooting skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions. Ability to take the initiative and drive for results. Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery. Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationship. Benefits & Compensation:
