- ollow Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
- Responsible for Maintain overall product and package quality to ensure all required standards and specifications are met.
- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment
- Conduct inspections, changeover, troubleshooting and minor servicing of equipment.
- Responsible for identifying when equipment is not functioning properly and advising a Supervisor or Mechanic in a timely manner.
- Ensure equipment in the assigned area is clean, in working order and that working conditions are safe while operating the equipment.
- Responsible for monitoring correct and legible bottle, case and pallet coding at all times.
- Ensure that all required operator reports are neatly and accurately completed and submitted to a Supervisor.
- Conduct required sanitation procedures: CIP (Clean-in-Place), External Foaming and Sanitizing when required.
- Communicate effectively and especially the beginning and end of the shift to ensure effective hand-off.
- Responsible for ensuring quality guidelines are met to meet customer standards.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds and perform work assignments.
- Follow GMP's and Food Safety Guidelines
- Follow Safety and Security Rules in Manufacturing Facility
- Report any urgent Quality or Food Safety Incident to Responsible Personnel
- In the event of vacation or extended absence the Machine Operator duties will be covered using overtime (other Machine Operators). Overtime may be required
