As part of the North America Data and Analytics Strategy team, you will lead cross-functional data model development and Business Intelligence. Reporting to the Director, Data & Analytics NA, Manager, Modelling and Business Intelligence will collaborate with multiple departments across the company to deliver optimized PBI data models, unleash Business Intelligence and insights, and drive effective visualization and storytelling through data. The ideal candidate for this is self-motivated quick starter who is insightful and results oriented professional with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. The candidate should have exhibited thought leadership and proven expertise in connecting various data sources to unlock value, optimize processes and data models, and deliver reusable data and analytics assets. The role is Hybrid in either in Toronto and Chicago. How You’ll Add Value: Ensure stability, scalability, and resiliency of BI Platforms including playing a key role in setting best practices and governance frameworks for existing and new builds. Design, develop, and maintain Power BI data models, reports, and dashboards to support organizations business intelligence needs. Determine and define data requirements collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in NA region and the Global data team. Develop a data verification process to ensure data is accurate, facilitate data quality standards, and work with Stakeholders to ensure standards are maintained. Train and educate users on data collection tools, BI platforms and effective reporting and visualization. Ensure design efficiency to minimize data refresh lags, optimize performance, and enable data as a service through reusable assets. Identify business relevant performance metrics and KPIs with functional leaders, apply innovative visualization techniques to develop interactive dashboards and enable advanced analytics. About You: Master’s degree in STEM discipline: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 4+ years of experience in BI platforms, Business Intelligence, data modelling. Excellent knowledge of data analysis, data query, strong business insights, dashboard and analytics thought leadership skills are essential. Demonstrated leadership in data and analytics roles, exceptional communication skills, and storytelling through data and insights. Demonstrated organizational, creative, and agile problem-solving skills especially for complex, diverse, and ambiguous problems. Keen to keep updated on latest technologies.
