Manager - Cloud Architecture and Engineering
to join our team at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL. Responsibilities
Your Role: As the Manager - Cloud Architecture and Engineering, you will lead the architecture, design, and delivery of cloud platform solutions across the enterprise. Your focus will be on ensuring secure, reliable, and flexible services to support RCP's digital enterprise. This includes collaborating with operations, security teams, and business stakeholders. Reporting to the Director of Architecture and Engineering, you will work with internal teams and managed service partners to maximize the value of RCP's cloud investments. You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen! Develop and implement a strategy for cloud services delivery that ensures resilience, security, performance, and value. Drive the adoption of cloud-native solutions within RCP's technology landscape. Design technical solutions using automated, scalable, and repeatable processes. Implement and maintain a governance framework to ensure compliance and optimal performance of cloud services. Support the evaluation, testing, and implementation of cloud technologies to deliver business applications and capabilities. We need you to have: 7+ years of experience in hosting operations, preferably in manufacturing environments Ability to communicate hosting and cloud concepts, cost models, and practices effectively to both business and IT stakeholders Experience working in hybrid delivery models with internal teams and managed service providers Prior experience with AWS supporting hybrid environments, including PaaS and IaaS Deep understanding of: Cloud Infrastructure Solutions Cloud Security and Identity Management Automation and Infrastructure as Code High Availability Solutions Disaster Recovery Strong problem-solving skills and experience leading incident resolution and service restoration Experience building and managing hosting operations teams and partnerships Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills Knowledge of ITIL practices and experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform and CI/CD processes Experience securing cloud workloads and participating in cloud migration projects Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently with sound judgment and initiative Ability to handle stressful situations effectively Willingness to travel approximately 5% If you answer yes to the following…we want to meet you!
