Our technology teams work daily to ensure Delta technology enables the best experience. You will own the toolchain powering every code commit, leading a senior squad to maintain GitLab, AWS infrastructure, and Nexus repositories. You’ll coach engineers, remove friction from SDLC, and partner with peers across IT to understand and evangelize product adoption. Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
Oversee platforms: GitLab EE, Nexus, runners, and AWS services (S3, RDS, PrivateLink). Standardize pipelines: Migrate teams to GitLab CI templates with quality and security gates. Enhance reliability: Define SLIs/SLOs, automate failover/DR, and keep availability ≥99.999%. Embed security & compliance: Integrate SAST/DAST, secrets scanning, and generate audit evidence for PCI/SOX. Drive insights: Publish DORA and lead-time dashboards; aim to reduce lead time by 20%+ annually. Lead by example: Mentor engineers across locations, participate in bridges, and ensure blameless post-mortems lead to fixes. Manage vendors & budget: Coordinate with GitLab PS, Sonatype, AWS; track multimillion-dollar tooling budget. What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in CS or IS with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 2+ years. 10+ years in DevOps/SRE or platform engineering, with 3+ years managing teams. Hands-on with GitLab EE/CI, AWS core services, Sonatype Nexus/Artifactory. Proven migration of on-prem toolchains to cloud/SaaS without downtime. Strong Terraform/CloudFormation, Kubernetes/EKS, and observability (Prometheus/Grafana). Effective communicator capable of briefing leadership and debugging pipelines. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in airline, travel, or regulated environments. Automation solutions addressing developer pain points. Familiarity with shift-left security tools. Benefits & Perks
