Responsible for multi-functional tasks within the Master Control Center. Has developed specialized knowledge/skills in own area. May act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Responsibilities
Operate and monitor broadcast equipment during live events to ensure seamless transmission. Manage signal flow and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during live broadcasts. Coordinate with production teams, directors, and on-air talent to ensure smooth execution of live events. Monitor and adjust audio and video levels to maintain broadcast quality. Implement and follow standard operating procedures for live event broadcasts. Ensure compliance with all broadcasting regulations and industry standards. Maintain detailed logs and reports of live event broadcasts, including any technical issues and resolutions. Provide technical support and guidance to production teams and other stakeholders. Stay up to date with industry trends and new technologies to continuously improve live event operations. Required Skills And Qualifications
Associate's or bachelor's degree in Broadcast Engineering, Communications, or a related field. Strong technical proficiency with broadcast equipment, including video servers, audio consoles, and automation systems. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform under pressure and handle the demands of live broadcasting. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of broadcasting regulations and compliance requirements. Ability to adapt to new technologies and workflows. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Preferred Skills
Experience with specific broadcast automation systems and software. Previous experience in live event production or similar roles. Additional certifications in broadcast engineering or related fields. Perks And Benefits
