Showing 1 location In the position of Material Master Data Specialist, you will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and accuracy of data fundamental to business processes that influence and drive critical business structures. This role requires collaboration with Business Process Key Users, system users, and global teams to execute data-related processes supporting operations, product launches, and continuous improvement efforts. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems while contributing to process enhancements and aligning master data structures globally. Essential Job Functions: Collect, validate, and process data creation/change requests (tickets) for creating and maintaining Master Data records. Ensure high accuracy and efficiency with master data requests, processing them according to current governance standards and processes. Share suggestions for process improvement and support process enhancements to increase efficiency and data accuracy; identify and escalate trends in data requests or integrity issues. Support ad hoc efforts to mass create or change master data for new product launches, business process changes, or other projects. Process mass changes following master data procedures; identify data cleansing opportunities and initiate data quality improvements. Manage incoming requests alongside unplanned needs to meet project and launch deadlines. Run data quality and analysis reports to support collaborating departments as needed. Participate in testing and developing new tools and reports to support data quality and import/export processes. Adhere to current master data standards, acting as the primary gatekeeper for Material Master Data (MMD), ensuring data consistency across global systems. Manage and complete special projects within deadlines, ensuring high-quality deliverables aligned with project objectives. Position Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Data Management, Data Analysis, or related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in data analysis or data management desired. Minimum 1 year of experience in data profiling, validation, root cause analysis, and quality improvement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel), SAP, or other database systems preferred.
