We are hiring a full time mental health therapist to join our group practice in Bethesda, Maryland. Responsibilities include providing individual, family and group psychotherapy in our Ascend young adult intensive outpatient program and within our outpatient practice. Since 2005, Metropolitan Counseling Associates has developed an exemplary reputation providing high-quality mental health prevention, treatment and support. Our Ascend IOP is known nationally for its cutting edge, cost effective, and empirically based treatment of young adults age 18-25 within a milieu setting. In addition to our client services, our practice works hard to create a work environment where each clinician experiences respect and support with ongoing attention to personal and professional growth. We offer competitive pay, dynamic clinical experience, a collaborative interdisciplinary team, leadership opportunities, and a wide range of training, supervision and other educational opportunities, including comprehensive training in DBT, EXRP, family systems and EMDR. We offer both employee and independent contractor positions to best meet the individual health care, PTO, and long tern planning needs of our associates. Ideal candidates have a master’s degree in social work, counseling, and/or a related field, and direct clinical experience across modalities and theories of practice.
