The Marlin Alliance, Inc. The Marlin Alliance is seeking a skilled
Mid-Level Power BI Developer
to support Navy clients in designing and implementing effective data solutions. This role requires a balance of independent project work and collaboration with junior and senior developers. The ideal candidate is experienced in Power BI and Dataverse and can handle client interactions confidently. This is a fully remote position, but applicants must have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to address diverse client needs. Connect and transform data from Dataverse and other sources for use in Power BI. Collaborate with teams and mentor junior developers in Power BI best practices. Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and present findings. Optimize performance and usability of Power BI reports. Support troubleshooting, debugging, and maintenance of Power BI solutions. Document processes, provide training to end users, and create knowledge-sharing resources.
Required Qualifications
Active or ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or 3+ years of relevant experience. Proficient in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard creation. Experience working with Dataverse as a data source. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Power Platform tools like Power Apps and Power Automate. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Relevant Microsoft certifications such as PL-300 or PL-400.
Salary Range
$95,000$125,000 annually
