Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate General Counsel to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee the entire contract management process, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts to ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation.
Responsibilities
Advise executive leadership on legal and regulatory matters.
Supervise legal team and coordinate with outside counsel.
Develop and implement legal strategies aligned with business goals.
Ensure compliance with corporate laws, bylaws, and governance standards.
Manage legal risks and oversee company compliance with laws such as employment, GDPR, environmental, antitrust, SEC, and state laws.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (vendor, customer, real estate).
Manage litigation, coordinate with external counsel, and oversee dispute resolution.
Advise on employment law, HR policies, and labor disputes.
Protect intellectual property rights and handle related litigation and licensing.
Support mergers, acquisitions, and transactions, including due diligence and compliance.
Lead internal investigations and promote ethical practices.
Represent the company in legal matters and advise on public disclosures.
Qualifications
Proven experience in legal practice, especially in contract law and corporate transactions.
Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and legal research skills.
Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
Membership in professional legal associations.
Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
Juris Doctor degree and active law license.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience.
Proficiency with legal research tools and contract management software.
