Title: Network Engineering Coordinator Duration: 7 Months Location: Portland, OR Description Provide full-time Network Coordinator services: Assist with special assignments by director of IT related to IT goals within the department Responsibilities
Provide Project Coordination for all small projects that are not run by NWN PMO: Scheduling, Scope, Budgeting All projects close out documentation (as-builts) for use by Operations Work with vendors to ensure remote sites are documented for cabling, rack layout, power, etc., and escalate any deficiencies Receiving, inventorying, disposal Help with receiving orders to ensure they are accurate Assess current inventory Coordinate with partners for disposal of equipment Travel for directed tasks is required though frequent travel is not expected Serve as the primary point of contact on all project issues, needs, and concerns Schedule and coordinate the necessary resources to support the project Complete Change Request (CR) documentation as required; and obtain signed CRs for mutually agreed upon changes Purchasing Organization Coordinate with external business partners to include: Delivery scheduling, Resource scheduling, On-site supervision Requirements
Technical Skills SSDWAN Tech refresh Data centers Resource Centers Help plan Microwave refresh Radio infill Facilities enhancements WLAN expansion Infrastructure deployments and refreshes SmartNet renewals Work with NW Natural team to pull info from SolarWinds and then with partners to ensure renewals are accurate and prudent Project scoping Help with scoping new project requests Help develop BOM and line up partners Scheduling for internal and external resources
