Jobright.ai BluePearl Pet Hospital is currently seeking a Network Administrator to manage their network systems. The role involves configuring, maintaining, and optimizing LAN/WAN systems while collaborating with vendors and IT team members to troubleshoot issues and support disaster recovery plans. Responsibilities: • Configure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot network hardware, software, and connections • Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues using industry-standard tools • Maintain up-to-date inventory, network documentation, and vendor activity records • Support disaster recovery initiatives and ensure reliable backups are maintained • Lead or participate in circuit turn-ups, upgrades, and scheduled maintenance • Act as an escalation point for network-related incidents • Recommend improvements to strengthen network stability and performance • Contribute to system standardization and process documentation Qualifications: Required: • Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience) • 2+ years of hands-on network administration or related IT experience • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Solid understanding of network infrastructure, hardware, protocols, and monitoring tools • Strong organizational and documentation skills • Comfortable working in a setting where pets are present • Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%) Company: We have hospitals located throughout the country, many of which are open 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
