Obstetrics and Gynecology Nurse Practitioner
at Saint Alphonsus Medical Group, a multispecialty group practice with over 500 providers. Primary responsibilities include:
managing women's health services in collaboration with OB-GYN physicians, including prenatal, postnatal, and general gynecological care, exams, procedures, and services such as routine obstetrical checks, pelvic and abdominal exams, Pap tests, cervical cancer screenings, and well-woman visits. This role also involves providing care for our International Maternity Care (Refugee group) patients with trauma-informed care practices. The schedule is a full-time, traditional clinic work week, with at least 24 hours of outpatient patient contact and one 24-hour shift per week at the Family Maternity Center. After-hours triage is shared among 7 CNMs via an answering service. Saint Alphonsus has 12 LDR maternity beds, postpartum suites, a Level II/III nursery, and a neonatal ICU for critically ill infants. Requirements:
Current, unrestricted Idaho Certified Nurse Midwife license, including controlled substance registration, Board of Pharmacy, and DEA. Experience in high-risk obstetrics and trauma-informed care preferred. Strong medical background and interest in developing a practice within a growing multispecialty group.
