Summary We are seeking a Compliance Manager to join our team at Caritas Management Corporation. In this role, you will oversee compliance and all occupancy guidelines and regulatory requirements of CMC's affordable housing portfolio, to minimize vacancy losses by implementing an effective system for pre-screening applicants, and to act as CMC’s Section 504 Coordinator. The Occupancy/Compliance Manager reports to the Vice President of Operations. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 guidelines. Conduct regular audits of properties to verify adherence to legal standards. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to compliance. Provide training and support to staff regarding compliance issues. Collaborate with property management teams to address compliance-related concerns. Negotiate with regulatory agencies as needed to resolve compliance issues. Requirements Proven experience in property management or compliance roles. Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, audits, HUD/Tax Credit, BMR, and Section 8 programs. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi. Strong experience with Microsoft Office programs, math skills, and working with sensitive populations.
