Responsibilities: • Support resolution of issues with production transaction and interface files fine-tuning database indexes and storage configurations, patches, and version upgrades • Supporting configuration and administrative activities related to Oracle Database, ZFS, LVM, and Exadata Qualifications: Required: • 4+ years experience in database administration principles and practical experience. • Strong understanding of database concepts, including relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and database design. • Ability to write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. • Experience with Oracle DBMS. • Ability to automate tasks using scripting languages like Python or Bash. • Shift - Day - schema management, backups, patching. Preferred: • Familiarity with cloud-based database services such as Oracle Cloud Database, AWS RDS, and Azure SQL Database. • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. • Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
