Applications Software Programmer (Journeyman) The Applications Software Programmer (Journeyman) b uild and/or modify complex application programs from design specifications. Design, code, test, debug, document and maintain programs. The programmer is expected to develop and maintain software. Solving engineering problems on a general basis. Look for automation possibilities like building entire workflows, along with their authorization scheme at each step. Software documentation is mandatory and DADMS is used for internal docs for engineering and requirements gathering linked together, like Wiki. Experience/Skills Required: Understands and can write PL/SQL queries Familiarity with Jira, TOAD for oracle, oracle databases Problem solving: ability to diagnose application defects based on database state Clear communication: will be working with both system end users and other team members to identify and diagnose defects and correct production data. Requirements: Bachelor's level degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from ABET-accredited program . Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance. Ability to work onsite fulltime Desired Skills/Education: Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering .
