Machine Operator Manufacturing & Packaging

Direct hire openings immediately available on night shift. Must be flexible to work 5pm-5am and 12hr shifts. $24/hr to start. Excellent benefits/401k/company stock options. Consistent work history and a positive attitude are key!

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of packaging and processing equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain production and packaging machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Set up machines according to production specifications and perform routine adjustments as needed.
• Conduct quality checks on products and packaging to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and perform minor repairs using hand tools.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
• Accurately document production data and report any deviations or issues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools effectively.
• Familiarity with safety and quality standards in food or consumer goods production is a plus.
• Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable working in a team-oriented, fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $46634.00 - $50794.00/yr. Schreiber Foods provides a robust benefits package to employees at its Shippensburg location.
